A groundbreaking project with 50,000 m² of office

A groundbreaking project with 50,000 m² of office space, hotel, fitness, restaurants and co-working facilities, as well as the first Belgian building to receive an award within three sustainability categories: BREEAM EXCELLENT, WELL 'GOLD' CERTIFICATION, DGNB 'GOLD' CERTIFICATION.
The Wings houses advanced sustainable environments that perfectly balance the relationship between work and well-being. We developed a smart and energy efficient lighting infrastructure with UGR19 compliant linear custom solutions. Employees, visitors, investors and tenants experience comfort like never before.

@equans_group Belgium and @orbit.lighting provided the lighting for the entire site, under the leadership of project leaders Robby Swinnen and Jerome Baukens and ORBIT project support engineer Kris Panis.

We thank all parties for the expert cooperation and contribution to the luxurious character of The Wings building and wish all employees and visitors a lot of job satisfaction and light comfort in this beautiful building.

Co-working space @meetdistrict_ is a project that brought together many different facets of lighting for us. It features very functional lighting like the built-in NOVA20’s in the SAPP ceilings, all the way up to very nice decorative fixtures like our Swirl tube light, and everything in between. We love how the lighting is incorporated in the design of the interior seamlessly. Big up to the architect Ken Philips for that! Take a look!
